According to the description on this YouTube clip, these two men were “smoking, cursing and spitting inside” a 7 train a few days ago and the person who filmed it is therefore encouraging people to “forward/share this video!” as if they were subway pervs. Gladly.

The 7 train is home to the foulest sociopaths you will find in the entire subway system. It by far has the most nail clippers, sloppy food eaters, religious psycho preachers and all around stank people. Now, we can say it is also home to (at least one) smoker.
Frankie Bones should now better than to smoke on the subway
I, in no way, wish to defend the action of these two jerks. But I have to say cursing, and an occasional smoke, shouldn't be a big deal on the subway. Firstly, cursing is cursing. What can you say about it? Can I deflect any appropriation of negative connotations of cursing by classifying it as a "cultural difference?" We do live in NYC, you know.
And smoking.. yeah that's dicey, but I feel good knowing that 1 guy out of millions gets away with a smoke in a public place every now and then. Just not this guy. These guys look like total assholes.
And yeah, the spitting was gross. No defense for that.

An old friend of mine would call the 7 Line the Ugly Line for those very reasons you mention. “Gotta take the N to the Ugly train and take that to Shea”, he would say.
