Invader’s latest 8bit tag is located in his most creative location yet — 20 feet underwater off the coast of Isla de Mujeres in Cancún, Mexico. The prolific street artist collaborated with sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor, tagging his underwater sculptures with the graphic tiles he’s so well-known for. Taylor began the underwater museum in 2009, installing hundreds of slightly creepy statues with names like “the Dream Collector.” The sculptures themselves are made of ph-neutral materials that promote marine life, creating one large artificial coral reef nightmare-scape.
