“Voodoo” is a series of oil-works by Swiss artist Till Rabus that might leave you feeling a little disturbed and reasonably queazy. His still-lifes are juxtaposed with alluring flowers, wilting vegetation and body parts. Also, sausage. And, uh, sausage-lookin’ pale an floppy body parts. You figure it out.
Pair that with the artist’s invisible brushwork, attention to fine detail and other photorealist painting skills, it’s that much more surreal and creepy. Fling that on your table-top as a centerpiece. Blegh.
