Terrorist Supporting Congressman Holds Rally Against Terrorism

On Monday, Congressman Peter King, a Long Island based politician with significant (and well documented) ties to a known terrorist organization, convened a rally of “Muslim activists” who reportedly welcome the wholesale surveillance of Muslim communities by the NYPD despite no criminal wrongdoing in the name of fighting terrorism. Approximately three dozen people showed up to lend their support to the controversial spying program that resulted in zero arrests, but did facilitate a helpful guide for scoring Islamic products. The prominent Republican who has yet to be investigated for his close relationship with the Irish Republican Army in the 80s, is somehow the chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, making anything he says about terrorism exponentially ironic and hypothetical.
