Eugenie Tung tried to film last week’s Transit of Venus. So did I. We both failed, but where I left with a slight ache in my neck from craning to see the damn astronomical event and not much more, Eugenie here has an awesome timelapse video of those same clouds which blocked our views. From a roof in Bushwick, she captured the almost marine clouds almost oozing over themselves in the sky. It’s good to know that even if we missed an interplanetary event Neil Degrasse Tyson called “long and boring—but rare,” we have damn pretty clouds. Right? Right?
