Fox News’ moustachioed pundit Geraldo Rivera stated on Fox and Friends today that Trayvon Martin’s hoodie was the real murderer, “I think the hoodie is as much responsible for Trayvon Martin’s death as George Zimmerman was.”

If that wasn’t enough, he wrote an entire editorial piece reiterating his moronic stance and in it said, “Rail against the inequities of life; but don’t let your child go out into the hard cruel world wearing a costume that is really a sign that says ‘shoot me.’”

Rivera sparked an instant outrage across the web and prompted the creation of the new Geraldo in a Hoodie tumblr, featuring photos of the reporter sporting the very clothing that he claimed was as responsible for Trayvon Martin’s death as the man who shot him. It’s a wonder that nobody has shot him or Bill O’Reilly yet. They’ve apparently been asking for it.

BuzzFeed caught on to the hypocrisy as well and posted a hoodie for sale on Fox News’ own web store, but then later reported that the item had mysteriously vanished. O’Reilly’s web store is still recklessly selling gang apparel, which could endanger the lives of all who purchase them. (Photo: geraldoinahoodie.tumblr)
