Check out Jeff Cross’s time lapse of the exit off the Williamsburg Bridge on Delancey. Set to the frantic “Submediterranean Woofer” by Aketerak, the film reinforces the city’s reputation for being fast-paced and maybe even a little manic. The real gems of the video, though, are the moments where you can see the shadows of the buildings stretch out at sunrise (the time is indicated in the lower left corner) and shrink as the sun sets. No amount of frenzied electronic music can strip these moments of their quiet elegance.
