Here’s some intense footage of two adult men beating the shit out of each other with crutches, right in Times Square. The caption on the recently-uploaded video describes it as a fight between a bum and a tourist, though there’s no real way to tell if that’s the case. At one point, one of them picks up one of those big blue NYPD barriers and tries to hit the other guy with it. Between this and the robbery ANIMAL documented last month, perhaps crutches are becoming New Yorkers’ new assault weapon of choice.
Side note: can we please stop filming things on our iPhones in portrait mode? It’s so easy to flip the thing sideways.
