Here’s the trailer for Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom. Kids very seriously, dramatically in love? Check. Tan-hued, immaculately-choreographed movie sets? Check. Mod overload? Check. Jason Schwartzman as some sort of camp-counselor-deputized-priest? Naturally.
Two twelve-year-olds meet at a New England summer camp in 1965 on an island. She — (possibly) an eccentric, impossibly stylish. He — paints nudes, a strange and very very serious little man. Big love! Also, Bill Murray! And Tilda Swinton, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand, etc etc. Back to big love:
“… two twelve-year-olds fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore — and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle. “
It opens May 25. I’m getting a serious Pierrot le Fou vibe.

Had no idea that he's already coming out with another movie. Looking forward to this.
Looks completely meaningless, all over the place and terrible.
But hey, it's got tons of recognizable actors acting deadpan throughout the entire film!
How can anything be meaningless?
