#BanksyNY 2: Banksy Rebuffed
While Another Pops Up on the Westside

October 2, 2013 | Bucky Turco

Banksy pieces don’t last long in New York. There will be no debates about preserving his work and no time to chisel it out off the wall he painted on, like in most cities. Here, his work suffers a quick death by way of tagging, modification and ultimately, an all out buffing.

Below is what’s left of the inaugural piece that kicked off his new series of NYC work. But just like that, a new one pops up. According to Banksy’s site this whimsical tag and stencil is somewhere on the Westside. Happy hunting. UPDATE: It’s on 25th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues.
