Here’s today’s Banksy: a stenciled child painting “Ghetto 4 Life” on a wall in the South Bronx as a butler (also stenciled) hands him spray paint on a silver platter. It’s a seemingly self-deprecating piece, and possibly a commentary on the rift between street art and graffiti. See something, send something. We’re on our way now.
UPDATE (11:36AM): Found it. 465 East 153rd Street, near the corner of Elton Avenue.
UPDATE 2 (11:49AM): People are already taking tags next to it.

UPDATE 3 (4:30PM): Another writer takes a tag, out in the open like it’s a legal wall. It also look like the plexiglass will be arriving soon as men could be seen measuring out the wall.

There are a lot of people who are offended by Banksy's South Bronx permanent piece. It kinds of shows his cultural incompetence and not fully understanding the consequences of a wealthy white Englishman using the word "Ghetto" in the Bronx. Or maybe he's really like that. who knows!?
