Day Care Drug Raid Turns Up Kilo of Coke

September 13, 2013 | Andy Cush

Cops busted the Bronx’s hardest-partying day care this week, turning up 1,000 oxycodone pills, tens of thousands of dollars in cash, guns, and at least a kilo of cocaine at Parkchester’s Fun World Childcare. Three hundred grams of that coke was stuffed into what looked like a kid’s lunchbox. Gregorio Hanley and Johanna Vasquez, the married, middle-aged proprietors of the center, were arrested on weapons and drug possession.

“A family emergency occurred very late last night and I was unable to message you,” read a sign posted on the door yesterday. “Fun World will be closed today. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience.”
