At this point, it’s clear that the emoji isn’t going anywhere, and now the Eyebeam Art + Technology Center is hosting an art exhibition and pop-up market featuring works experimenting within the pictograms and characters. The’ve issued an open call for “a diverse array of interpretations and appropriations of the emoji that exist both on and offline.”
