Five Years of F.A.T. Is GOLD at Eyebeam

April 1, 2013 | Kyle Chayka

Opening tonight, in conjunction with their five-year anniversary, Free Art & Technology Lab is having an exhibition at Eyebeam.

Lindsay Howard has curated F.A.T. Lab’s first retrospective, a group of twenty-five artists, hackers, engineers, musicians, and graffiti writers, each who have in some way been involved with Eyebeam. The Free Art and Technology Lab is an organization dedicated to enriching the public domain through the research and development of creative technologies and media.

The exhibition is comprised of  video, software, net art, installation, and performance works. If that isn’t enough for you there will also be a series of nightly events occurring throughout the week including a live stream as the group plans to add more works to the exhibition on the fly.

We’re huge F.A.T. fans.

Oh, and the dress code is “bling.”
