Listen In” is a weekly feature in which we ask musicians to curate a mixtape-length YouTube playlist of songs they’re currently digging.

Today’s playlist comes from Rhode Island-based producer The Range, who selected a mix of mid-’90s R&B and hip-hop, bookended by two more contemporary tracks: MssngNo’s “Brandy Flip” up front, and Justin Bieber’s Terius Nash-evoking minimal R&B single “Hold Tight” to close things out. Click the big play button above to hear the whole playlist or scroll down to see and hear individual tracks.

The Range plays Glasslands with Obey City and “Listen In” alumnus Octo Octa this Friday.
