According to a new report on climate change–a field of science that Republicans reject because it still snows–by the end of the century, temperatures are expected to creep beyond current projections. Lead researcher, Professor Steven Sherwood, says the latest study predicts a 4 degree Celsius (7.2 degree Fahrenheit) increase by the year 2100, which will move the dial from “dangerous” climatic conditions to “catastrophic.” In 2012, similar findings were published, but this time it specifically has to do with less clouds or something. Under these circumstances, the tropical regions are going to be way too crispy to live and coastal places like New York City, way too watery to inhabit. (Image: Alex Lukas)
