Your Browser History, Rendered as Overwhelming Favicon Collage

March 18, 2014 | Andy Cush

If you’ve been pining to see all the shame and procrastination of your browser history laid out before your eyes, look no further than Iconic History, a Chrome extension designed to do just that. One click gives you a collage of favicons — those little icons on the left side of a browser tab — for every site you’ve visited in recent months. It’s a torrent of visual information, but picking out trends is relatively easy. As you can see above, I seem to visit Google most often — a surprise to me — with our own site close behind. Of course, none of the really juicy stuff is there — for that, there’s incognito mode.
