In theaters: The Dog documentary about John Wojtowicz, the real-life inspiration for Dog Day Afternoon (screening with Q&A at the Lincoln Film Center this weekend); Web Junkie documentary (filmmaker in person at Film Form tonight).

The Spectacle Theater is screening Trent Harris’s The Beaver Trilogy of shorts — the 1979 doc about Groovin’ Gary, the 1981 $100 remake staring Sean Penn and the 1985 with Crispin Glover. (7:30pm, $5, Brooklyn)
