Peregrine Falcons — majestic, once-endangered birds of prey — have a habit of nesting on top of New York City’s bridges. Recently, the NYC Department of Environmental Protection tagged some peregrine chicks living on top of the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial, Throgs Neck, and Verrazano Bridges, and took the above photos. The young birds are at once totally adorable and kind of horrifying — how you might imagine a baby dinosaur to look. See them in the gallery.
