Squirrel Attacks Subway Conductor

May 21, 2015 | Liam Mathews

A rampaging squirrel sent an MTA motorwoman to the hospital on Wednesday, according to the New York Post.

The conductor was walking up the stairs at the Woodlawn station in the Bronx when apparently from out of nowhere the squirrel ran up and bit her. She was treated at Montefiore Hospital, and hopefully she got a rabies shot. Not saying the squirrel was rabid, just that squirrels aren’t generally known for their bloodthirstiness.

Reached for comment, the squirrel, who sounds like John Leguizamo, said, “I thought she was a nut!”
