This Drone Cinematography Is Dope

April 1, 2015 | Liam Mathews

Production company Brain Farm hooked the $110k high-speed, hi-res camera nerd-approved Phantom Flex4k up to an Aerigon cinematography drone and captured some primally satisfying slow motion footage.

No one had ever flown such a heavy camera before, and the Brain Farm crew didn’t know if it was going to work. “The title of this is either going to be the most technically-advanced drone camera flight of all time, or the Quarter-Million-Dollar Crash,” Brain Farm CEO Curt Morgan says in the video’s intro.

Spoiler alert: they pull it off, and the results are spectacular.
