Watch the NYPD Give Zero Fucks and Barge Into a Woman’s Apartment Without A Warrant

April 10, 2015 | Bucky Turco

At a time when scrutiny toward police brutality and wrongdoing has reached an all time high, with new incidents popping up daily, the NYPD recently decided to get back in on the action. In a video uploaded to Facebook/YouTube by Diane Malikah Moomin Pinkston, a group of plainclothes officers can be seen forcing their way into her apartment without a warrant while she and her 15-year-old daughter protest. “Police bombarded my apartment April 9, 2015,” wrote Pinkston on Facebook. The 49-year-old mother of three told ANIMAL that she lives on the 11th floor of the Clinton Houses in Harlem. She said the incident started at about 1:30PM and lasted about 15 minutes.

One of the cops claimed they were in pursuit of a “a felon who’s fleeing from us,” which of course is a lie. These officers did not witness a suspect run into this woman’s house, even admitting moments later, “we were told he is here.” The only way an officer can enter someone’s home is they’re in immediate or continuous pursuit of a suspect which they clearly weren’t.

When the cops show Pinkston and her daughter a photo of the alleged perp, they emphatically state that they don’t know who that person is and that if the police want to search the premises, they must get a warrant.

The cops ignored her repeated pleas to get a warrant and pushed open the door as the two women record the incident on their cell phones. “If you don’t like it, you can sue,” one of the cops smugly says as he brushes past her.

After searching for several minutes, the police didn’t find anyone and thanked the two women for their “cooperation,” to which she replied, “We didn’t cooperate.”
