Andy Golub’s Nude Body Painting Banished Into the Night

NYC artist Andy Golub who’s been painting naked ladies in Times Square (and getting them overzealously arrested) will have the public exposure and lewdness charges against him dropped, providing he keeps his models’ g-strings on in the daytime. It’s “a compromise.” Boo!

Golub’s civil rights lawyer Ronald Kuby argued that New York laws do not prohibit public nudity when it’s in the name of art, but apparently, this only applies to the boob ‘n’ nipple half:

He is permitted to paint bare breasts any time, anywhere, but the G-strings have to stay on until daylight goes out.

Saving the public from sun-lit vaginas, one court case at a time?
