Donald Trump has alway been a little bit of a nut, but in the last few weeks–between calling for revolution, saying the presidential election was a “sham,” and erroneous claiming that Obama lost the popular vote–he’s gone full-on Charlie Sheen. And now, a petition asking Macy’s department store to sever its ties with the executive-turned-reality-TV-star has gained over 470,000 signatures.

The petition cites a history of sexist behavior, hypocrisy towards China, climate change denial, and racially-charged birtherism as reasons Macy’s should dump the Trump. But the mega-retailer’s association with the mogul runs deep: the man and his prodigious hairdo appear in advertisements for the store, and his branded “ties, shirts, cufflinks, fragrances and other merchandise,” are top-sellers, according to Trump spokesman Michael Cohen.

For their part, Macy’s hasn’t responded to the petition, but Cohen is confident that they’ll stick with the spray-tanned entrepreneur, saying “Mr. Trump is important to Macy’s, both as a brand and as an endorser.”
