Hedonism(y) Trojaner: Bow To Your Internet Horse God

10.02.12 Irina Dvalidze

Remember history class? Remember when the Greeks kind of screwed the entire Trojan nation by sneaking behind enemy lines in a wooden horse, disguised as a gift from gods? German artists Babis Cloud tributes the trick with Hedonism(y) Trojaner while simultaneously answering the eternally nagging question: What happens to your keyboard when you throw it away?

Hedonism(y) Trojaner is a sculpture of a rocking horse created out of resin and recycled computer buttons. As the title suggests, the sculpture is a commentary on the subversive and hedonistic nature of modern technology. The piece is also a reference to the not so popular ‘trojan’ virus, which has plagued internet users via e-mail. Point being, Cloud thinks internet is our generations trojan horse and we’re going to be screwed Greek-style very soon.

We better start praying to the internet gods now.
