Is This the Band Involved in Williamsburg Murder-Suicide?

Over the weekend, a shooter killed three victims at 318 Maujer Street before taking his own life. While the names of the victims haven’t been released it is widely reported that they were members of a band. The New York Times is reporting that neighbors are saying that band is called the Yellow Dogs, and the Daily Mail has them as members of an Iranian-American rock band.

All signs point to Yellow Dogs, a synthy dance-rock band, formerly of Iran, that has been residing in Brooklyn since 2010. Condolences are coming in every few minutes on their Facebook, and their Wikipedia page has already been updated to reflect the shooting. Surreally, a bunch of their music is on Bandcamp.

Here’s their latest EP, Upper Class Complexity, released last year.
