Bad news for the Marine Park teenagers who badly burned themselves in an explosion while trying to make dabs this week: they’ve been arrested for reckless endangerment, pot possession, and possession of paraphernalia. Making hash oil concentrate involves soaking weed in butane; one of the kids lit a cigarette during this process and sparked the explosion.
Anthony Gambale and Gabriella Katanov both suffered second- and third-degree burns, and Katanov’s mother told the Daily News her daughter “could be in the hospital for a year.”
