City Using Bus Stops As Ticket Traps

bus_stop Don’t let those new ‘This location is no longer a bus stop” notices fool you. Last week, the MTA closed hundreds of bus stops as part of their service cuts, pissing off most New Yorkers, but not those city residents who actually owned a car and figured at least they’d gain some parking. Not so! Many were ticketed for parking at a bus stop even though it’s technically not one anymore and now they’re just as pissed off as everyone else. But justice will prevail. Anyone who contests the ticket will get a dismissal. |WSJ|
