Could Unions Help Rebrand Occupy Wall St from a Dirty Hippie Protest to a Populist One?

We may soon find out. Last night, after Michael Moore was interviewed live on MSNBC from the Occupy Wall Street protest, a woman who identified herself as a TWU 100 union member and a bus driver said they fully support the demonstrators and plan on going there Friday night.

And this could be just the type of help this movement needs. In addition to the duo’s pledge of solidarity, the TWU officially told the @NewYorkist via Twitter that their “executive board endorsed a march from City Hall to Zuccotti Park on October 5.”
