CRASH and DAZE, two legends of New York City’s graffiti movement, join forces on Friday night with the opening of their new exhibition at Ad Hoc Art. In addition to new collaborative paintings, the first in more than a decade, the two artists will show their own unseen works: CRASH’s pop art letter abstractions and DAZE’s nostalgic odes to the time before clean trains. The show opens from 7 to 10 PM on Friday and remains on view through June 14th at 49 Bogart Street in Bushwick. Click the images above for a sample of the work on display. After the jump, a video of the artists explaining how they went from painting subway cars to galleries.
