Everywhere Sucks Right Now

On Thursday, Pro-Russian separatists shot down a commercial airliner in eastern Ukraine, killing all 298 board — at least 80 of them children — and still won’t allow unfettered access to conduct a thorough investigation. Throughout the weekend, Israel continued its offensive in Gaza as the death toll rises with over 500 Palestinians and 20 Israelis dead. In India, thousands of people had to protest in the streets to get an alleged rapist of a six-year-old girl arrested. Two Libyan militia groups are battling for control of Tripoli International airport leading to the deaths of civilians. Opposing factions in South Sudan murdered each other on Friday. That same day, gunmen killed seven people on a bus in Kenya and “Al-Qaida-linked al-Shabab militants have claimed responsibility for the assault. Saturday, 22 Egyptian soldiers were killed by Ansar Beit Al-Maqdis, a jihadi militant TK from the Sinai. Over in Nigeria, terrorist group Boko Haram attacked a town, slaughtering over 100 people. Hundreds of Syrians died in an ongoing fight for a gas field. And finally, “at least 40 people were shot” over the weekend in Chicago, some of them innocent kids. (Image: Megalife)
