FEMEN: Topless Potemkin Concentration Camp Emancipators

In honor of April 11 celebrating the release of prisoners from WWII concentration camps, “FEMEN pacifists tore off their military attire as a symbol of protest against the Nazi revival in Ukraine,” alluded to Battleship Potemkin and declared Kiev, Ukraine to be “the city that most affected by the Fascist plague.”

Action Fascisophrenia brought FEMEN’s signature blend of unrelenting nationalism and sporadic philosophizing, but it wasn’t nearly as insensitive as that Japan thing.
