Fifth Graders’ Incredibly Dark Drawings Inspired by Radiohead’s ‘Hail to the Thief’

Ten years ago, SPIN’s Rob Harvilla played Radiohead’s Hail to The Thief for a group of fifth-grade students and asked them to draw their reactions to it. Yesterday, in commemoration of that album’s ten-year anniversary (make you feel old much?), he published those drawings. They are amazingly, amazingly dark, and a good reminder of just how strange and surprising Radiohead’s music can be, especially a decade ago, and to young ears. See a few above and the rest at SPIN.
