Listen In: Guerilla Toss Made You a Playlist

11.26.13 Andy Cush

Listen In” is a weekly feature in which we ask musicians to curate a mixtape-length YouTube playlist of songs they’re currently digging.

Guerilla Toss’s music careens from one measure to the next, barely giving the listener time to understand how a particular groove works before barreling headfirst into the next one. It’s only fitting that their playlist exhibits the same kind of restlessness, moving from Francois Hardy to Ornette Coleman to Kate Bush to “What Would Brian Boitano Do?” and etc.

Guerilla Toss’s new record Gay Disco is available December 10 via NNA Tapes. Highly recommended for fans of bands like Dope Body, Deerhoof, and Melt-Banana.
