Luxury Trashcans by Damien Hirst, Art World’s Trololol

Big deal artist Damien Hirst continues to troll the Art World with his latest exclusive Hirst ™ trinket — a trashcan, pardon, “rubbish bin” — from Vipp, a luxury trashcan manufacturer. The shiny limited edition garbage buckets are priced at $595 a pop sold only at the Astrup Fearnley Museet. They’re riddled with spots. You know the ones.

Oh, which ones? Mr. Will Brand?

These spots reflect nothing about how we live, see, or think, they’re just some weird meme for the impossibly rich that nobody knows how to stop.

Seriously, I have nothing else to say about this. I already reviewed the damn spots, cough cough cough cough cough. There’s nothing I haven’t attempt-quipped about already or that respected internet comrades haven’t already said better.

It’s a fucking trashcan. With the spots on them.

One more time, for good measure… What’s Damien Hirst’s medium again, Hennessy?
