Man Electrocuted, Killed After Peeing on G Train Third Rail

July 8, 2013 | Andy Cush

Peeing on the subway tracks is a pretty serious faux pas, but no one deserves this kind of punishment. According to the New York Post, Matthew Zeno, 30, was electrocuted and killed after urinating on the third rail at the Broadway-Union Avenue G Train stop at  3:30 this morning. No word on whether he fell, or if the current from the rail traveled upstream and got to his body (something MythBusters says is possible but not likely, for what that’s worth). A 26-year-old friend tried to save Zeno and was also electrocuted, but is now in stable condition, according to the NYPD.
