New York’s Trendy Snow Gets Its Close-Up

February 23, 2015 | Aymann Ismail

On Saturday it snowed again in New York. Here are some closeups of what snowflakes looked like in some of the city’s trendiest neighborhoods. ANIMAL documented the various flakes in action using a DSLR I hacked with the Pentax 25mm 1.4 TV lens that’s usually found in 1″ CCTV security cameras. Check out ANIMAL’s previous close-ups: Street Salt, Street Food and Garbage.
