Dov Charney's Giant F*ck You To LA
This classy sculpture of a giant clenched hand giving the middle finger is what first greets guests coming into American Apparel debauchee Dov Charney's LA home. A spy who was recently at the sordid mogul's Silver Lake abode—located within a gated community—spotted the massive F-U that sits at the top of the stairs leading to the front of the house. Whether this monument acts as the magical source of Dov's panty-dropping power or if it's just an insightful look into his taste in art is anybody's guess, but one thing's for sure, it's direct geographical positioning sends a strong message straight to the heart of Downtown LA. That may be his house but it there are absolutely no gated communities in Silver Lake. I've lived here all my life and a gated community would not last a second here.

It's in Los Feliz and it is in a 70's style track home gated community. This is the house of the original developer of the community and sits at the top of the hill overlooking the rest of the homes. It's kind of a dump up close though. Very appropriate to the new owner. In the background you can see all the salvage mercedes he gives his girls to drive.
