Kid Robot Still Toying Around With Flagship

With the Kid Robot Pirate Store closing last week, and a date of May 1st set for the official opening of their new NYC Flagship space at 118 Prince Street—despite the pirate branding for the pop-up—it's no wonder they've got contractor Ivy Walk working through the weekend. After all, there's still a good amount of work to be done if this thing is gonna be retail ready by Thursday. ANIMAL gained entry yesterday to the soon to be opened toy mill and got some exclusive shots of the interior. The new duplex space has way more room than their old digs, as well as a lot more plexiglass display cases which will undoubtedly be filled to ad nauseam with their trademark Dunny and cheapy blind boxed trinkets. There's also plenty of rack space for their highly priced pajama-looking hoodies, wacky cardigans, and, shockingly: $65 beach towels! So get ready toy fanatics and streetwear man-boys. Welcome to the almost completed Bloomie's of designer vinyl and mundane apparel. More shots of the unfinished business after the jump.
