Anarchists and activists the world over assembled for May Day activities. It is one of the few internationally celebrated holidays, and many participants mark the occasion by marching, rallying, and wearing really cool protest masks. ANIMAL turned to flickr to find some of the best looking May Day disguises from variousc cities, even including some very frightening riot police. Sadly, NYC ain't even in the running, cause as you'll from the photos, things have become rather tame in the US compared to other countries. Jump for the full collection.
