Ron English Emancipates Barack Obama
Billboard usurping culture jammer, Ron English, created this dramatic image of an Abraham Lincoln - Barack Obama fusion to help promote the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. Like the Obamartists before him, this 18×24 inch print will be sold via Upper Playground and is part of an ongoing effort by the 008 Movement to get the country's first black man in the White House. In the wake of Hillary Clinton evoking the assassination of RFK to describe why she's not leaving the race, not to mention the punditry continually equating Obama to JFK, we'll have to admit to being a little concerned with the junior senator now being depicted as the 16th President of the United States. Granted, Lincoln and both the Kennedy brothers are all considered iconic American political heroes, but they also share something else in common: assassination. Update: Print is officially up for sale.

Did you know that Lincoln did NOT want to free the slaves? Lincoln, who did not believe in equality of the races, wanted the Constitution to make slavery “irrevocable.” That fact alone, not to mention the other secrets about "St. Lincoln", makes this painting pretty darn HILARIOUS!

Well you're all dumb "Amen'icans" so most of you won't notice the irony. Actually, sorry that's not true. Stephen Fry reckons that you folk not "getting irony" is a fatuous concept... Which is-actually- ironic when you consider it. Bless and "Bo!"

Obama is a liar and a fake. His PR campaign fools Americans to believe he is for peace, but he’s actually voting to keep the war on “terrorism” and increase troops by the 10s’ of thousands to the middle east. He is a pawn architect in a much larger scheme. Wake up America!!!!

The reason Lincoln and Obama are fused:
-They both were lawyers in Illinois
-Didn't serve a full-term in senate

I do like it very much! Focus on the possitive, on the good things Ab. did and on the good things Obama has done already...sure he has a long road ahead Mr. Obama... art is supposed to stimulate, pinch a nerve. I still say I like this piece.
