HOPE You Can't Afford

There's less than two days to go in Russell Simmons' 'Art for Life' auction and this finer art, hyper limited edition version (right) depicting the 'HOPE' image Shepard Fairey designed for Obama's campaign has a current bid of $108,000. The oversized, mixed media stencil collage measures 45×69 inches and is one of three—although each is unique. The auction officially closes on July 24 at 2PM, and with this artwork bidding in increments of $5,000, it should be quite entertaining to see just how much this thing fetches. Of course, losing bidders always have this as a second option. UPDATE: Sold for $108,000.
