M&M's Claims It Can Rip Off the Naked Cowboy
Times Square fixture and entertainer of tourists, the Naked Cowboy, wasn't happy with a new candy commercial that showed a guitar playing, underwear clad, M&M-styled representation of him. But the candy maker disagrees, claiming he doesn't own the trademark on dressing funny: "The company that makes M&M's claims Times Square's scantily clad guitarist doesn't own the rights to strolling around topless in tightie whities, according to papers filed yesterday in Manhattan federal court." |NYP|
