RADAR's Ad Radar Sharper Than Expected
Whenever media publications/Websites advertise, it's always worth noting because 1) they often pose as authoritative critics of advertisers and their advertising missteps, and 2) they themselves often have absolutely no fucking idea what they're doing (see, New York Times). And when a pugnacious pop culture Site like Radar rolls out new consumer print ads, well I fire up the flame thrower. But...these aren't bad! While the campaign's focus on scandal short sells the site's day-to-day intelligence, the illustrations are a lot of fun and set the right tone for visitors.
