NYC Jail Complex Will Not Investigate Rapper’s Claims

We got in touch with Sharman Stein, the Deputy Commissioner for Public Information at New York City Department of Correction about Drake’s lyrics.

The spokeswoman gave us Rikers’ official position about the song that has the rapper implying that he had sexual relations with a female prison guard while visiting Lil Wayne in jail.

She writes:

We have no record of any incident of that description occurring here at Rikers. You should know all visits are closely supervised by Correction staff. Officials are aware of the lyrics and do not believe the lyrics warrant further investigation. If we had enough facts upon which to launch an investigation of this type, we certainly would investigate.

This could finally be what Drake’s been looking for to show the world that he’s really hard. Congrats Aubrey!
