Pop Art Pops

This blueberry liquorish Darth Vader, strawberry creme Marilyn and cimarrón and rum Che head-shaped ice cream from Russian advertising company STOYN is very exciting, da. Here’s the sad back story on the Mayakovsky: The cranberry and vodka flavored tribute to this badass poet futurist was sculpted using his actual death mask as reference… and then, he got mistaken for Voldemort.

Sigh. Here’s some footage from the Moscow fair festivities where these kitschy pops were presented. Apparently, the Brits brought bacon flavored ice cream but it did not go over well. Russians preferred the beet and bread flavor… but of course.
