Next week artist Ry Fyan opens an exhibition of recent collages at Half Gallery. Similar to his assemblage process of painting, Fyan draws from a variety of sources, seeking “imagery and symbols that exude an uneasy frisson, a cognitive dissonance if you will, which seem to resist quick uptake and consumption.†The solo show will open from October 26th through November 12th at Half Gallery, 208 Forsyth Street.
