The popular pizza chain Sbarro is set to open up a series of new locations in Ohio under the name of “Sbarro Brooklyn Fresh.”
It does seem like they’re simply trying to capitalize on the widespread media appeal of Brooklyn, but the restaurant did get its start as a small deli and pizzeria in Bensonhurst during the early 1950’s.
Or maybe they’re just thinking of Brooklyn, Ohio?
