Shelter Dog Had a Tool Inside of Him

A Long Island woman adopted a dog from a Brooklyn animal shelter earlier this week and after bringing him in for a check-up, the vet did an X-ray and discovered what she described as a “wrench” in its body. Bella Fiano has no idea how the got there, but hopes it was the result of canine curiosity and not human evilness.

She took the Cane Corso named “Golgi” to Sachem Animal Hospital where Doctor Corso—no relation to the breed—performed surgery. We’re happy to report that the dog is happily recovering and has already eaten its first meal, giving proof that goodness in this world still exists.
