Following the friendly fire killing of Omar Edwards, a New York State Senator is calling for increased video surveillance in police cars to aid investigations. The $2500 panoramic cameras that State Senator Eric Adams showed off in Harlem yesterday would record 360 degrees of video and audio both inside and outside the car. “This will save our city millions of dollars by showing when officers do the right thing, who either can’t get it right or who should not be wearing a police uniform.” Read more »
